As WWII sets in, a Japanese-American family finds themselves separated by thousands of miles of water.  One daughter is sent across the Pacific Ocean to live in Japan and is stranded there as the rest of her family is sent away to an internment camp in the states.  In this fully musically-scored story, they live in the shadow of the war and ask “where is home” as they cope with new realities.

We’re excited to put on a 15-minute version of this piece as part of 18th & Union’s Spring Shot festival! We’ll be performing at 7:30pm, April 11th thru 13th, 2024. Our cast will feature the wonderful talent of Isabelle Bushue, Caitlin Sarwono, and Sandra Waters.

Tickets are limited, so reserve them here to see our show in addition to a crew of other artists and productions performing that week.

Can’t make it in person? Our April 13th show will be live streamed, and be available for on-demand viewing thru April 27!  Get access to that video here.
