I composed some music for a short operetta! Conceived by AC Petersen, “Currents” paints a picture of a Japanese-American family, separated across the Pacific Ocean during WWII. In just 15 minutes, the show follows them as they ask “where is home” in the midst of a wartime landscape.

We’re excited to put this piece on as part of 18th & Union’s Spring Shot festival! We’ll be performing at 7:30pm, April 11th thru 13th, 2024. Our cast will feature the wonderful talent of Isabelle Bushue, Caitlin Sarwono, and Sandra Waters.
